Bob Stokes gave us a presentation on his passion for collecting watches. The watches ones that have an engraving about the owner. From there Bob researches the person's history to fill in the details of the watch's history
What Bob presented was a way that the owners of the watches have become time travelers from their time to our time. His watches, that we learned abput were from WWI and WWII.

Bus Trip to 911 Museum
This Tuesday, we visited the 911 Museum in New York City.
Our trip started with our boarding our luxury bus at the swim club parking lot.
At our arrival in New York, we had a short walk to the museum entrance.
Once inside the museum, we traveled down through the several levels of the bases of the twin towers that hold the visual reminders of the disaster that was the 911 attacks.
We saw the Chapel and the fence where the firemen hung their boots, never to return to get them.

Everywhere we went there were photo opportunities including placing ourselves near som eof the structures .
Outside we saw the pools that mark the locations of the towers
