Trip to The Mandir in Robbinsville, NJ

On Tuesday May 15th, we travelled to the Hindu Mandir in Robbinsville, NJ by luxury school bus.

Approaching the site, did not give us a real indication of the sights we would see inside.

Once inside, we were treated to a huge building of carved marble . Al of it caved in India and transported here for assembly. This Mandir, unlike otehrs is completely inside the exterior building. The goal is to have the Mandir last 1000 years.

The walls of the building enclosing the Mandir and plaster and hand painted by people from India.

Here you get a sample of the intricacy of the carved marble.

Our next stop was the Pub for a sumptuous lunch,

Th food looked great and tasted good.
