 My Story 

 Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always loved entrepreneurship and owning a business. I would sell lemonade on the street corner & candy to my classmates. When I was 14 I purchased my first drone. It was a mere toy which is still in a tree near my house (It was the wind). Over time I gained more experience, and quickly realized that drones were my passion. I decided to go all in and pursued the business full time after graduating high school in 2019. My View Towards Life Everyone has their own goals and dreams in life. However, most of us don’t think it’s feasible to achieve them. Considering that we only live once, why not try? I created The Drone Life because I wanted to have my hobby become my job. People of all ages have told me that I inspire them to take an initiative in their life as well, proving that it is possible to pursue one’s passion professionally. Who knew that just doing what makes you happy can have such an effect on others as well? I don’t want to become rich or be famous, I simply want to be happy. The people I meet, and the satisfaction that my work is helping other businesses or individuals, is what keeps me going. What is truly important is the quality of life you live and whether you take the time to enjoy it. I wanted to share my findings about entrepreneurship with kids so they can be inspired to follow their dreams as well. Now I’ve begun to interact at summer camps, schools, or STEM education events. I love how intrigued they become when I talk about drones or owning my own business at their age. Some have even made their own small businesses! My new mission is to start drone clubs at local schools where kids can build, code, and fly their creations.

Raising Seeing Eye Dogs - Jane Berkowitz

Jane outlined how she and her family raised four separate dogs to be ready for training to become seeing eye dogs.

Making Poppies for Haddonfield Project Poppy

The Haddonfield Project Poppy, a public art installation starting on Memorial Day 2020 until Independence Day 2020.

A total of 3,837 poppies will cascade from the left corner of Haddonfield Memorial High School to the grounds of Veterans Memorial Grove. The poppies will all be made by local volunteers.

Athletic Director of HMHS

Our first VP, Frank Lodge,  Introduced our speaker.

The Director of Athletics at Haddonfield Memorial High School, Lefty (Lefteris) Banos spoke to us about The sports programs in Haddonfield and how he got there from Greece.

When he first arrived in the US, his grandmother told him to use the name "Lefty" because no one would understand or be able to say his name. So, even though he is not left-handed, he goes by the name of 'Lefty'.

He got to Haddonfield because hi future wife lived here and when the were married and he was working in Bordentown,  the Athletic Director's job became available. He applied and got the job 15 years ago.

He has  had  a very successful time here. He has built on the traditions that exist in the town. He doesn't teach the kids to min, but to "Listen, Learn, Improve and Grow".

That formula has worked, 8 of the past 16 years Haddonfield has earned the NJ Sportsmanship Award. This is an overall award for excellence in sports for the state for all schools, not just our Group 2 schools.

Poppies to honor WW1 Veterans...Joe McElroy

The Haddonfield American Legion Post 38, is sponsoring an event to place artificial poppies at the Haddonfield Memorial High School this year from Memorial Day until July 4th.

Joe told us of the plan to have 3,837 or more poppies flowing out of HMHS and across the grounds in front of the school.

He has 1,500 so far and showed us how to assemble the 100 that we units that we have purchased for this project.

The kits are $2 each and assemble quickly.
