Gas Stations in Haddonfield - Presented by Doug Rauschenberger
Haddonfield Historian and member Doug Rauschenberger spoke to us on A History of the Gas Stations and Auto Dealerships of Haddonfield, complete with some old photos. Doug welcomed memories from our audience!
It was a "Full House" today.
Following Doug's Presentation, we all walked over to Carl's Sunoco Station, the last one in Haddonfield to celebrate the staton's 65 anniversary. A good time was had by all.
Honor Flight Presentation to the 65 Club
Pan and Ron Pantano introduced us to HONOR FLIGHT. This is funded by private donations from individuals and companies who recognize the great accomplishments and sacrifices of veterans. The trips are provided to improve Veterans' morale and as a "Thank You For Your Service". Honor Flight takes them on various trips to patriotic sites such as Arlington National Cemetery, and Gettysburg Battlefield, so they can have a better feeling about being a Veteran who helped our country remain strong and loyal to its defenders.
