Silver Photography - Steve Silver

Steve Silver tells us about how photography has changed since it went digital.

He also showed us how he uses the technology to create artistic pages for albums well beyond just having straight forward photographs as pages in albums.

He pointed out that in addition to the megapixels in the cameras, the optics (lenses) are important to produce a fine photograph.

He also mentioned that word of mouth references are the best way to find a photographer that you will be satisfied with for your project. That way you get the right skills and experience in addition to the photographic equipment.

Inkwood Books - Julie Beddingfield

Inkwood  is a new book store in Haddonfield that sells printed books!!

She comes from a family of readers and left her career as a lawyer to open this store. Her sister, in Florida, runs the first Inkwood Books store.

She is part of the resurgence in local book stores. They provide community based functions, such as book clubs, after school reading and story programs that can not be provided by online book sellers.

Her store has one room dedicated to kids and kid's programs.

She told us that "Kid's learning works better with books.

Book stores also provide services such as recommendations for gifts. So, you can get help choosing the right book as a gift as well as learning "what's hot" for a specific age group..
